This cable is great for 3 connections (right, left and ground). This may not work for iPads and similar devices as they use a 4-wire cable connection. I am using this cable for a portable speaker to add length from my source(s), MP3 player, media center player and/or PC audio. I am happy with this cable which seems to be of decent quality with no loss of quality. sound or clarity. The only drawback is perhaps the heavy (not necessarily) cable jacket. This is usually done to compensate for the thinner wire. As this is a fairly new cable to me I'll have to see how well it holds up. I'll let you know if there's a problem. The older my review gets without an update, the better the cable is with no problems.
