I bought this unit to replace an old clock radio that broke down. I was surprised how difficult it was to just find a simple clock radio to use as an alarm clock. I also wanted good sound quality and FM reception, qualities that my previous set was secondary at best. In short, Lesco clock radios work great. The sound quality is very good for my standards. FM reception is also very good. The display can be dimmed in stages so as not to disturb my sleep at night. The alarm functions work well once you understand the setup procedure. The user manual could have been written better as there are several buttons to control the device's functions and understand the screen. I did not use the USB port for charging. In general I am very satisfied.
