Wanted a simple cover for Macbook since two original rubber feet had come off and replacements never stay on and laptop would scratch table. The case is better than expected. It was easy to install and fits perfectly. All ports are accessible and even has a cutout to check battery indicator. The cover has 4 white feet on the underside that appear to be well installed and will keep the bottom of the Macbook slightly elevated, while on a hard surface to help with heat dissipation too.The original Macbook aluminum case is either cold or becomes warm and is slippery. I wear shorts frequently and the Macbook was uncomfortable or slid off of me. This new case has a soft touch to it and keeps the macbook in place while on my lap as well as it does not feel cold or hot after use. The rear of the Macbook is not covered by the case, which is good since this is where cooling fans are located. The underside also has cutouts for further heat dissipation.The included keyboard cover is simple, stays in place, and is nice to the touch. Although, the backlit keys do not illuminate through it. However, the key cover color is blue with large white printed letters that actually make the keys easier to see. This is compared with the original black keys with white letters that have slightly faded.There is no cutout for the Apple Logo on the top cover. However, when illuminated it shows through the cover.
