This is my favorite cleansing oil although I have tried many products! I have dry skin with a slightly oily T-zone and have tried several Korean oil-based cleansers, but Dear KLAIRS Deep Cleansing Oil has been my favorite cleansing oil for a while. Whatever I experiment with, I always come back to it. I really, really, really recommend him. A little background: I started my journey with Korean cosmetics in early 2019, right after I turned 28. Before that I mainly used Estée Lauder. I switched for various reasons but mainly because 1- I wanted to improve my skincare routine when I was in my 30's and 2- I wanted my next brand(s) to be non-violent. And dear, KLAIRS is a famous Korean brand that is not only ethical but also quite affordable, especially when compared to Western brands like Estée Lauder. And let me tell you that Dear KLAIRS is way better! - at least for me and my friends who have tried their products. The first step in Korean skincare is oil cleansing and you have two choices. You choose either a cleansing oil (like this one) or a cleansing balm. I've tried both. And I have to say that the cleansing oil, especially this one, has been a delight to use. Not only does it cleanse the skin well (with or without makeup), but it is also very easy to use, very light on the skin and moisturizes well. But here's the thing: while I'm happy to use it for everyday use, the size doesn't work for my travels. So here's what I do now: I keep Dear KLAIRS Deep Cleansing Oil in my bathroom and use it twice a day, morning and night. Sometimes I apply a little Dear KLAIRS Sugar Facial Polish to my T-zone to deep clean my pores and get rid of all those nasty blackheads. The mixture of these two remedies works like a miracle! I have a cleansing balm that I only use when I travel. Due to the texture of the balm, I find it very convenient to use on the go. All I need is to take a small portion of the balm and put it in a small container. And voila! But if you ask me, I wish dear KLAIRS had this cleansing oil in a travel size. I would drop all the balm I have for it! Note: I've read a review or two that mention bad breath and would like to comment. I bought this product on different sites: SokoGlam, Wishtrend, iHerb and Revain. They all smell great (if they smell at all) except for one from Revain. It smelled so strange that I sent the product back. Now I know where to get my cleansing oil and not Amazon!
