My cat is a fat boy (13-14 lbs). I recently moved back in with my parents due to COVID and my office was closed until January and I needed a good carrier to hold my cat for the 3 hour drive. I left it before moving to get used to it and had trouble getting in and out. It expands to a nice spacious size. I've used it as transportation to take him to the vet and I always get compliments. During the three-hour ride, my cat was able to lie down and curl up comfortably. It has good ventilation and bubble windows for him to peek out of. Once it starts to cool down I plan to take it for a walk to see the world. lol I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a nice sturdy cat backpack. Some reviews mentioned an odor, like the smell of new plastic. I had the same smell but after a few days it was gone.
