Installed a week ago to replace a dying TYC assembly. Luckily I kept the original as this device requires reusing the original case as the TYC case is not compatible. like the original fan before the bearings came out. The TYC fan was always slower than this and only lasted about 6 months before slowing down even further (to the point where the full speed air barely blew after a while before cooling down again). I don't see that as a problem either. Replacing the fan is tricky, it's really quite easy if you have the right tools and know what to pick up. Took me about 45 minutes from start to finish, but I've had a lot of experience with these cars - give yourself two hours the first time (you get various T25 tools, extensions, swivels, and a willingness to just snap off the rear-most lip from the fan housing , so that you do not pull the torpedo forward, and also pull the carpet to the side, the gasket in this place is also very thick, but you should not remove it, but some Super 77/99 will help return it back)
