After trying a few other slippers that were either too small or too narrow, I was pleased to discover that these Old Friend men's moccasin slippers come in plus sizes are. I usually wear 4E when available but here there were 2E, 3E and 5E options so I went with the largest. The length was as expected but the 5E was too generous so I changed it to 2E and it worked. The slippers are a bit heavy but I will take them with me every day. The insole pads on this model are interchangeable, but note that a replacement can cost anywhere from $20-$30. Please note that the Washington model has an acrylic lining and the insole is NOT interchangeable. Men's Old Friend Washington Slipper (13 5E US, Chestnut); I think that's why it costs a little less. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my dad but he found them too soft. I like the soft bottom but in his case the free return helped. I use them mostly for indoor work and occasionally check the mailbox.
