I never knew this class of product existed until I saw someone at Starbucks using one and had to ask what it was. Throughout my career I have been a slave to my home computer settings. I'm a creative person and the software I use just doesn't work with a screen. I've never been able to work anywhere other than my office so no travelling, coffee shops or anywhere like many people I know who just need a screen to work. This product makes it so that I can be completely mobile. Even with smaller 14-inch screens compared to my dual 27-inch screens at home, it still gets the job done with just a fraction of the inconvenience of my full-size monitors. And it gets its power from my Mac's USBC port, eliminating the need for extra cables. I think what makes our particular product stand out is the fact that it gets magnetized on the back of your laptop. I've seen other solutions and most of them are standalone monitors that need to be placed on a flat surface. This makes finding space a lot easier - for example I have a laptop that rests on my lap, but I can't support two independent screens - no problems with that. And as far as portability goes, I almost forgot I had it with me because when it's not in use it folds up to fit the laptop snugly and I just pop it whole in my backpack. I gave it four stars for screen quality, not because it could be better - just compared to my MacBook Retina display. But the fact of the matter is that it even works at 1080p. It's not exactly a second monitor, but it's pretty damn close, especially for the price. I would easily pay more for it and feels like a steal for what you get. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their laptop workflow.
