I can't lie. I destroyed my hair. From black to blonde there is no lie. I'm sure the Olaplex the stylist used saved my hair but it didn't make my hair feel like hair. My hair wasn't soft, I barely touched it for a month. Then I had a great idea to paint it pink (I'm not a pink lady, I don't work with pastels) and I hated it and ended up painting it again. Sigh. From black to light, there are always intermediate options. I bought it without much hope. I figured I could at least run a comb through my hair with fewer frizzy, frizzy, and crying moments. I decided to use the amazing (well named!) shampoo and amazing (so aptly named!) conditioner first. And I felt it almost immediately, softness, and as my hair dried I noticed all the shine, the softness, the healed hair. I almost cried with relief! I can't wait to try the bonding treatment if I need it, but for now. My hair is on hair again. I highly recommend it and will be telling all my friends and stylists I know. Sorry Olaplex, that's better!
