Cable Matters does a good job and this device meets the usual standards. Issue: 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz video transmission from HP ZBook 15 G3 to DVI input on HP LP3065 or Dell U3011t monitor. First try: Connect the HDMI output via a dual-link HDMI to DVI converter. Failed: Although the laptop correctly recognized the monitor models and the native resolution of 2560 x 1600, I was actually unable to display anything above 1280 x 800. Second attempted solution: Connect the HDMI cable from the laptop to the Dell U3011t monitor. Failed: The maximum screen resolution was 1920 x 1200. A good solution: Connect your laptop to this device (cable means USB-C to DisplayPort converter) and then to the monitor via a dual-link BizLink DisplayPort to -DVI converter with power supply. Works great with either monitor!
