When I visited my vet he was impressed with my hamster's weight and general health. He's Campbell's dwarf hamster, so it's easy to add too much sugar. This is a good formula for hamsters and I stick to healthy treats. For example, cranberry flavors and millet seeds. In addition, my Hammi is very picky when it comes to food. I just stuck with that diet and if he was fussy I'd let the same food sit for a while longer before just replacing it. I give him 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons every three days. If he's picky, four or five days. It broke the picky behavior. He still hates one thing in food but from anything that suits me. I posted photos of the ingredients and benefits of this food. I also recommend a container to keep it fresh, even if the bag has a zipper. I'm not saying the bag is bad. Just that I find it easier to keep it fresh and not fall out of the bag when I want to feed my hamster. I have a 16 cup / 4 quart / 3.8 liter Sterilite brand container. In the picture I have a whole bag in the container and I'm sure two can easily fit in. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to any owner looking for a healthier diet for any dwarf hamster.
