Very good glass, perfect for travel. On all trips he was a reliable companion. Wherever he was at sea, and in Europe, and in the cities of 2022, he never failed at home either. Filmed at night even for 1/2 sec. at 18mm - sharply through the frame. It is better to take in a whale with a carcass, it is much cheaper. I advise everyone, 16-55 2.8 I don’t even want to. I've been using it for 3.5 years and have no complaints.

Pros

Aperture, about a stop higher than ordinary whales 2.8-4 versus 3.5-5.6. Stabilizer, because of this, you can prefer it to the much more expensive 16-55. Sharpness. Versatility. Build quality. Lightweight and small.

Cons

We have already written about the front lens, it really is not fixed tightly. Sharpness at the long end is worse than at the short end. The aperture control is electronic, and focusing is a plus for someone, not for me. Washes in the corners. No dust protection.
