Great inexpensive scale for making coffee at home (which is what I use it for). I think the most beautiful thing about it is the speed at which it tares and how quickly it reads new weight changes. Both are very useful when weighing ground coffee in a portafilter or trying to track an espresso shot. Its accuracy is also a plus. The only complaint about the scale is the digital screen: it has fairly limited viewing angles. If it's written on the espresso machine's drip tray, you need to be at the right angle to read your weight. All in all, you can't get a better scale that measures down to tenths of a gram at this price point. . If you're making espresso or filter coffee at home, don't use Acaya, don't brew, don't add Jariyo, that's all you need.
