This jacket is very soft and very light and because it is thick in the middle makes it slim which is nice. i am 5 years old 5 inches and 140 pounds and the setting was perfect. I live in North Florida and this jacket is perfect for those 40-50 degree temps (slightly lower if you're not a pushover like me) but I don't think it would be heavy enough for a true winter day. , without further layers. But since I only need it for "winter" in Florida it will be perfect.
