I have a pioneer vsx-527 + yamaha ns-555 fronts + ns-333 rears = I was pleased with the sound in films and music, but still something was missing when watching films - some kind of detail. As a result, I decided to buy the central channel and . was surprised. What was missing appeared. In principle, it is expected and not surprising that 5-channel acoustics are needed for 5-channel sound in films, but it seemed that it would go like this, that the fronts would take the role of the central channel, but the fronts took the role, but they did not give the quality of the central channel. Therefore, if a toad chokes you to buy - choke the toad, the center channel will transform the sound in films. It's worth it.
