Good sturdy boots for an active kid

Bought these for my 8 year old grandson. These are well-tailored boots that are much easier to put on and take off than lace-up boots. I don't know about your kids/grandkids but mine hates tying and untying his shoelaces - he's too impatient for it so he tries to get them to turn them on and off. Also, over time, the laces get very frayed and you need to find the right length to replace them. The great thing about these boots is that they keep his feet warm and dry and we have very wet muddy weather which is difficult to play in. for these or other children's shoes. They are essentially disposable when the liners eventually wear out, which will happen long before the boots wear out. Throwaway society - just throw away and buy more. :(

Pros
  • We love Kamika. They are durable and keep feet dry. They hold up through multiple kids and hand falls! Great boot!
Cons
  • The boot works on the small side.
