Review on ⌚ Timex Expedition Digital Chrono Alarm Timer 39mm Watch: Reliable Outdoor Timekeeping with Versatile Features by Cheryl Wilson

Reliable, legible, lightweight and easy to use

I bought one of these just over two years ago. I have a "Black and Gray Quick Pack" strain and I beat it to death. I wear it to work where they get beaten, grabbed by things and generally abused six days a week. It still works well, the face is well preserved with only minor scratches and the velcro is still holding up great (which I was worried about). First). The fabric that holds the watch to the strap has loosened up a bit over time, but given the number of times I tug and snap at my hand, the fact that it still doesn't tear is commendable. A few days ago a piece of the plastic frame holding the bezel broke off so I ordered a replacement. It *still* works fine, but now I'm worried about water getting in on rainy days (I work outside). So I leave it as a spare watch until the battery dies. The thing just keeps going. It's also the perfect size. The face is big enough for the display to be nice and clear even to my old eyes, but the watch isn't too big for someone with a small wrist like me. The controls for setting are very simple, which is not always possible with a digital watch. I love the indiglo lighting and the button is nice and big and all the way up (but it's never accidentally pressed). At the risk of sounding overly generous, this is the closest thing to a perfect product.
