This is a great natural deodorant option and I would definitely recommend trying it. I bought this stuff after having trouble with traditional chemical deodorants that I've been using for years. I've been using Dove antiperspirant for as long as I can remember, but it stopped working for me last spring. Instead of stopping me from sweating or getting rid of the smell, it almost increased the body odor and also partially masked it with scent. As a result, I stopped using deodorant altogether (which honestly smelled better than the strong, weird sweat perfume I had), but during the summer months I decided I really needed to find another option. I decided to try natural deodorant to find something more effective and health conscious. After trying many options at Whole Foods and other health food stores, I stumbled across Schmidt's after searching Revain for the top rated natural deodorants. Pros: This stuff really works. I have a very physical job, I lift things, move fast and get a lot of stress at times (stress sweat!) and this material doesn't disappoint. In fact, I'm amazed at how well this works. I find it works better than any regular store-bought deodorant I've ever tried, including so-called clinical strength deodorants, and even after hours of physical activity, my armpits smell NOTHING. In my opinion, Schmidt's price of $10.99 is worth it. The packaging is really pretty and I love the cute little spatula so you really have control over how much is applied to your skin. (i.e. it doesn't stop me from sweating). I also found that I had some skin irritation the first few days I applied it. For the first week I switched to only using it every other day as I have very sensitive skin. Now I use it every day again, but I apply a little less than before. I'm not a big fan of ylang ylang and marigold scents. it's a little "pungent" and less soft and floral than I'd like, but once you apply it, the scent is so subtle and completely disappears after a few hours, so it's really not a problem. Looking for a natural deodorant that really works, order this one. I think it's definitely worth a try and I'm very happy with the results.
