Money saved and works, but a bit complicated.
Definitely a great money saver. It didn't come with a chip. It included a tool to remove the chip from the original toner and place it in the new toner. Pretty easy if you follow the instructions. The printer displays an error message stating that the toner is near the end of its life and printing may not print correctly. Because he already knows that this chip comes from a used toner. Once you get past this error, everything will be smooth. Every now and then it reappeared.
