yes it ruined my hair

I have dark brown hair with blonde highlights and tips, I knew from other reviews this would make my blonde hair look green but I had to tone down some hot roots which I did For some reason my gray hair is dying. I pulled out my trusty bleach and color brushes and the pain ran through my hair, avoiding all highlights and caramel. I waited 7 minutes (the shower took longer to heat up than usual :)) and washed it off. Well, after a few hours, when my hair was dry, the blonde and caramel areas around my face turned green. and I mean the Wicked Witch's green face makeup. I poured a glass of red wine and almost cried, but instead I poured some wine on my hair and let it sit for an hour. washed, dried and everything was perfect! so i went to bed happy. GREEN in natural sunlight the next morning but beautiful in my bathroom mirror. it was sooooo green from the light from my windows and even the dark hair had a slightly greenish tint to it. Long story short, I remembered I had some semi-permanent light tan under my sink for my next transformation and I just used a test amount on green, waited 10 minutes and rinsed. Finally, in the sun, I have light caramel highlights. No, they're not light anymore, but caramel is better than green. My hair still has a greenish tint in the sun, but I hope it will fade over time. and now you can live. I sent it back but will give it a star because I have one too and I think if you have jet black hair that creeps red between the dyes it would be amazing but for any type of brown or keep yourself far from the brighter ones! Update - it's been a few weeks since I've used semi permanent auburn hair dye to cover up the green, the hair color and also the green and my hair is back to where it almost was. Not sure if this method of attachment will help someone who has had the effect of the wicked witch from the toner, but maybe it's worth a try? Much luck
