Mixed first impression of this phone holder. The back is metal while the front looks like a combination of plastic and metal. The back comes with small strips of tape to keep it in place, unfortunately the tape itself is too thin and doesn't help at all. I added a small strip of velcro and it stays in place, the velcro is probably sticking out a little more than it should. Now that it's installed, it looks beautiful until you take out your phone. Then you realize how much of your infotainment screen the phone now covers. Of course you won't be looking at the screen while driving, but you definitely want to be able to see what the rear camera is showing you. I think I might try removing the velcro and using thicker double sided tape to see if it goes in a little more. Personally, I'm still stuck on this point.
