Great phone holder with careful installation! Whoever came up with this was a genius! Make sure you set yourself up carefully before the ride. Tilt it back slightly and the charging cable will help stabilize the phone.

In my opinion this is the nicest phone holder for the Mini. It just didn't fit. I had to add mounting tape so it could stay in place. Now it fits and looks great in my 2018 Clubman!

Just installed, glue isn't strong enough but the holder just fits the model perfectly. It's tight and there's no room to shake or detach. No additional adhesive tape needs to be stuck on. Expensive but worth it.

The screws literally fell off after 2 days of use, the double sided tape doesn't even stick and I have to spend money to buy double sided tape. The dashboard occasionally falls off. The hinge broke completely after a month of use. Just don't waste money...

Looks good, you need to use 3m double sided tape to stick because the bad tape that comes with the kit can't bear the weight of the phone. On the second day, one of the small bolts on the scissor joint felt that the bolt had found it after an hour's search and needed to be fixed again. On the third day another one of those bolts was lost and I still can't find that one so I don't have a phone holder anymore.

Sturdy and easy to install, you can add some felt around the edges to make it snug, but it's not necessary. Very easy to install, good quality and durable. No tools or anything are required for installation, it fits the 2020 countryman very well. My wife has been looking for a solution to keep the phone in a mini for a long time and there aren't many of them. It's perfect and keeps the phone in sight.

I really liked this phone holder. No tape needed to be used, it's already pretty strong. I bought 2 of these. The 1st small pin inside the arm fell out. For my life I could not find it. So I bought another one thinking it might be a bug (it happens). The first lasted about 2 months. The second one I bought did the same; a small pen fell out. The 2nd may have only lasted 3 weeks. Hence 0 stars for durability. I'm not good at giving things back so I just threw them away. By the way, I have F54.

This item does not fit my 2015 Mini Cooper 4 Door Hard Top as advertised. I don't have an infotainment system, that could be a problem. The phone holder fell slightly out of the cutout above the stereo. The phone holder comes with two pieces of 3M mounting tape, but these proved ineffective/unusable. I bought Gorilla mounting tape and used it to secure the phone holder in place. It's been a week and the phone holder is still stable. The mount is ok but I would consider a different phone mount…

I bought this item because I wanted something that would securely mount in the center of the dash - this phone holder was just the ticket. The part that slides into the small space above the touchscreen is snug and perfect for making sure it doesn't come loose. The phone slides in easily and stays in place whether you hold the phone vertically or horizontally. Why only 2 stars? Because the screws that hold your hands in place hold your phone aren't tightened after I noticed them loosen. Finally

Mixed first impression of this phone holder. The back is metal while the front looks like a combination of plastic and metal. The back comes with small strips of tape to keep it in place, unfortunately the tape itself is too thin and doesn't help at all.
