I was very excited when I finally got my punch. However, I found that it never punched as cleanly as I expected. There was human error, me decided to give it a try anyway and do some research. Apparently everything I did wasn't wrong. According to my research on the internet, I didn't even push the limits by trying to pierce a thin laminated sheet of metal, but every time, when it wasn't a piece of thin paper, dies were torn, and my projects were torn as a result of jams, my husband and I even unscrewed the die mounts and tried to unlock the die (see attached photos of the result. We later found out that the real punch was BENT! Resulting in wrong punching (dirty cuts) I've never dropped it or done anything w as caused it! And what's worse, I don't have a box left to return it. So I'm stuck ryal. My advice if you purchase this item please keep the box and do a full inspection upon receipt.
