I searched for quite a while to find what I hoped would be the perfect journal. I love the blue color and butterfly element. I also wanted a journal that could be reused so purchased additional paper for it. The refill paper actually arrived a week before the journal but I was really excited to begin using it. I was disappointed to find out the paper that came with the journal was actually blank pages, which will make it difficult to write in neatly. Luckily I had the additional lined paper and

First and foremost, I like and use it. I needed a novelty journal for this and that and it is up to the task. Plus, I love how it looks and it is refillable.However, the paper bends easily with regular use and I really wish it were bigger. I got the largest I could, but the size combined with the unlined paper can easily make using it cumbersome. I understand the "old, natural" aesthetic it was probably going for, but it still suffers for it.

Other than the headline, the only other comment I had, was before giving the gift, verify the color you ordered is the one received, by looking at the gift itself. In the first try, I didn't receive the red I ordered, bu revain customer service made it right, and I was still able to order a replacement without additional cost, and to arrive on time.Happy with the gift options. The notebook comes in two sizes. Look carefully at all your ordering options.

I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter, and she loves it! She enjoys sketching, and she says that this journal is the perfect size for her to do smaller pieces. She likes the tan paper with no lines because she isn't writing in it. She only uses it for her artwork. The "look" of the journal is lovely; and the theme of butterflies, with the butterfly charm on the closing leather straps, is really attractive.

This turned out to be a unique gift for one of my students. She loved it so much, it was the perfect size to carry around and sketch on. She took it everywhere. Also, she was able to add pages to it and this became another a plus as well.Thank you!

I absolutely love the design and the fact that the pages can come out and back in. It's convenient for me to carry around in my purse and take out to jot down things. I was worried that the fake leather was going to smell but it turns out that it didn't have a smell at all. I loved this so much that I bought another one in a different color for my sister. Great gift!

I have found that these make nice gifts, they are very attractive, come in different colors, the fact that they are refillable as an added bonus. I have given several away and they have always been met with complements and thanks.

This journal is a gift for my daughter. I liked the compact size so she could easily travel with it. It has an expensive vintage feel with a very budget friendly price. It will be perfect for her.

This journal is very nice on the outside. The design is magical on the outside. The papers on the inside are good, the only thing is that the color of the paper is to dark. so the writing does not show the best, but you can see it.I recommend these journals for everyone who loves to journal or as a gift. Very nice.I ordered the deep blue. It's actually more like a deep navy/black. If I'd known it look different from what was pictured I would have bought the yellow. But it's still very nice so I still have it 5 stars.

I bought this to jot down ideas for upcoming projects. It’s wonderful. The paper is sturdy and gel ink does not bleed through. It’s so beautiful, I love the imprint of the butterflies. It’s affordable and sturdy. I take it with me everywhere I go. I carry a moderately large sized purse and it fits easily inside. I honestly think it would fit in a medium sized purse as well.

Love the color and the embossed design on the cover. The leather is a bit stiff, but it will work for me, because I'm rough on notebooks. I'll be using this for design sketching, idea collages and some note taking. The brown paper is firm and my fountain pen writes well on it. Because I can, I'll probably change out the leather lacing closure for an elastic band like those on TN. Other than that I like the book, the price was right.

I bought this as a gift for my step granddaughter. She likes it and it’s pretty but there’s not enough paper in it. It would be great if they would at least double the paper. Who wants to have to order paper every few weeks.

DISLIKED that the print on the front of the journal and the fold does NOT align liked pictured! Our product has the same hand extended twice (on the front of the cover & the fold)! I bought this because the first one I ordered was so lovely, but the rings are much smaller in this one, and the pages push on the release bars and can "unlock” the rings. It just isn’t the same quality as the first one :-/

So the first impression the paper is definitely a little thicker than regular copy paper(the photos posted by the seller makes it look almost like tissue paper) But it is nice. It feels very nice and cute butterfly charm to wrap and close. I have already started writing. This would make a beautiful gift. Cute. Convenient. and Affordable!
