Review on πŸ’ͺ Loctek Heavy Duty Gas Spring Swing Monitor Arm Desk Mount Stand - Fits 10-34 inch Monitors, Weight Capacity of 13.2-33 lbs by Adam Browning

Generally good, adjustment is difficult. Responds to emails.

I bought the D7 unit to hold monitors up to 32 pounds in weight and 34 inches wide. My monitor weighs 18 pounds and is 32 inches wide. The bracket can easily bear the weight of the monitor. Build quality is good and all parts needed for installation were included. The parts are well packaged and fairly easy to identify. Assembly is relatively easy and the stand is reasonably stable. I would recommend having at least one assistant for the assembly and installation process. failed because, in my opinion, it is difficult to adjust the tension of the various levers. While a hex nut is generally easy to turn, it is quite difficult. The problem is compounded because all the settings are so well integrated into the hands that they're almost invisible. And when a monitor is connected, these settings can be very difficult to find. While looks and design are important, functionality means more to me. If the tension could be adjusted with a thumbscrew or wing nut, the device would be one of the best on the market. The only feature I couldn't adjust at all was the rotation. The specifications require the screen to be rotated 90 degrees. The tilde and height can be adjusted, albeit with difficulty. There doesn't appear to be any rotation adjustment, which can cause the screen to rotate unexpectedly. These criticisms are not a "deal breaker" but should be taken into account when making a purchase decision. Update: June 2018 The company emailed me a quote. Compensation for my troubles. It was nice of them to do that. They were very responsive.
