A few things for prospective buyers who haven't had a VESA mount yet

Definitely works as advertised but a few notes for prospective buyers. This is my first VESA mount so I wasn't expecting anything. First this thing is attached to the table either with a drill and bracket or with a crank putting a lot of pressure on the underside of the table to secure the top. I assume it's ok but you need to make sure your table is at least 1 inch thick to avoid clip issues. Also, I use a crank solution to avoid drilling, but the crank itself is thick and needs space behind…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Hard to say

As already mentioned here, check the weight of your monitor before deciding on the model of stand you want to buy. This stand works with the expectation that your monitor or TV will weigh more than the minimum weight required for the mount itself. If you buy a heavy version, with a minimum weight of around 20 pounds, a monitor that weighs "just as much or less" can't stay "lowered". I personally bought a high performance model to install Vizio. 43 inch 4K TV on my desktop. Its "about 21 pounds"

Find another place to install Samsung ultrawide screen.

When it came out of the box it looked great! .And here the good ended. When assembling the screen (49" curved ultrawide, 7lbs under "maximum weight"), the threads on the vertical angle adjustment knob broke as soon as I tried to tighten it, leaving the screen tilted only 15° from the flat side , and when I put in rather a long screw that might catch the threads further in the head, I found the entire arm flexing to the point where I'm not even remotely comfortable pushing the ultrawide towards…

Not even close to a 30 lb support

I bought this for a 30 inch panel so I had more table space underneath and while the bracket sits well on the table it is not Roughly capable of withstanding 30 pounds of tilt head, even after the hex screws are tightened. , etc., etc., etc., only to abort the whole process, plug up a new 3/8" hole in my desk and box up this junk for sending back to Revain. If you have a 24" monitor or smaller this MIGHT work fine, but there are no real physical mechanisms to lock the tilt as most stands have…

Works with Samsung CRG9

Reading reviews I was skeptical that it would stand up to Samsung CRG9. Half say it won't work, half say it will work. So I decided to take a chance and try it myself. The installation itself was a little tricky, I attached the bracket to the monitor while it was in the box. I adjusted the lever tension on each screw to almost the maximum, then climbed onto the table and attached the clamp. I let the clamp loose and moved it around until I was close to where I wanted to be. For the price it…

. The Sony XBR 4k works well on this arm; however

I have a 49" Sony XBR 4k on this arm and it works fine, but the clip mount is weak and eventually bent, although the weight of the display is within acceptable limits. I had to use another tool (which is included) to drill a hole in the table. It's an old table so I don't mind but if it was a good table I might be disappointed. good product I think the base could be a bit wider for better support and the clamp mount should be reinforced to handle the maximum weight.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • no insurance

Well made product that supports LARGE monitors

This D7L monitor mount is VERY well made and the springs are very strong. I use it with a Samsung 49 inch widescreen gaming monitor and it supports it well. In fact, there's still excitement for an even heavier monitor. I would buy from them again if that is the quality of all their mounts. If I could say that something needs improvement it would be a bigger cable channel (I have power, 2 DP and a webcam) to hide the cables and the plastic covers that snap open could have a better way of…

Generally good, adjustment is difficult. Responds to emails.

I bought the D7 unit to hold monitors up to 32 pounds in weight and 34 inches wide. My monitor weighs 18 pounds and is 32 inches wide. The bracket can easily bear the weight of the monitor. Build quality is good and all parts needed for installation were included. The parts are well packaged and fairly easy to identify. Assembly is relatively easy and the stand is reasonably stable. I would recommend having at least one assistant for the assembly and installation process. failed because, in my…

Not recommended. Bad quality control.

Attached is a photo of my first Loctek monitor arm. Currently. I went and bought two more hoping and thinking hey they have good reviews. Maybe I'm just stupid? nope Fresh out of the box, the second one I just put in, no matter how you twist it, no matter how tight you tighten it, your hand shoots straight up, doesn't stop, straight out of the box. I expect MUCH more from Loctek as their arms are higher quality and more expensive than the competition, but they just DO NOT work as intended…
