I know the Govee app because I have two Govee H5075 Bluetooth temperature/humidity sensors. They work great. But Bluetooth has a limited range. I want to add a WiFi based temperature/humidity sensor. I have previously tried two temperature/humidity combinations of the Govee H5040 WiFi Gateway but both had problems in providing continuous and reliable data logging. Missing segments appeared in the graph from time to time, and recorded temperature readings changed randomly from time to time. When the Govee H5041 came out with "updated" WiFi, I decided to give it a try. But he couldn't complete the WiFi setup to add it to the Govee app. After a dozen failed attempts with my Pixel 4 XL phone and iPad, I gave up. Could it be that the Govee app was limited to two devices? Has the Govee app been confused by two previously removed Govee H5040 devices? Whatever the reason, this new H5041 cannot be added to the Govee app!
