Review on ๐Ÿšฒ ROCKBROS Suction Cup Bike Rack: Quick Release Aluminium Alloy Carrier for 1 Bike by Mario Beaklini

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Sturdy and reliable but questionable durability or QC

Unfortunately I received a faulty block where the right front wheel shell never worked properly. It initially held, but I could never get the white guide line to completely disappear as instructed, no matter how many times I pumped up the bowl. Compared to other cups you can actually hear the air coming out and until today it got worse when it didn't work at all. I have used this shelf less than 10 times. That being said, even with the right hand side cup not working at all, the rack will hold my 15kg bike at high speeds. Unfortunately I don't trust it 100% at the moment, but I trust the rack to still work. I've seen others do the same, namely Sam Reynolds in one of his YouTube videos (although he has the signature seasucker rack). So pay attention to the quality when buying this shelf. It's a lot cheaper than the Seasucker, but still a decent amount of money per rack for just one bike (my pick). Potentially amazing. The cups are strong when working properly and will hold your bike very well. The case comes in a well-packaged box and comes with fairly detailed instructions. Not perfect english but not really a problem. You have to be pretty stupid not to understand them because the product is simple and easy to get started! Keep in mind that if you have a bike with a thru-axle, you will need to buy an adapter that allows this. It would be nice if it was included. If you only have bikes with quick releases, no problem. It even comes with a skewer. If you're not sure about getting Rokbro instead of Sea Sucker, fear not. I received a defective product, but it still works. The overall rating unfortunately had to be downgraded, but if all cups work then this rack is safe. As long as the cups work, I can wholeheartedly recommend this.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
