I had no idea the kids in the pool had to wear different types of diapers and when I found out I bought disposable diapers thinking that was the only option available. After hearing about these reusable diapers I decided to give it a try and my 1 year old wore them to his first swim class. First, I love that they're eco-friendly (I cringe at the thought of all the many, many disposable diapers I've been through in the last year, but I admittedly don't have the energy or desire to use reusable diapers). Every day). In any case, as much as I love these reusable swim nappies, I noticed that my baby's urine leaked right through them when I held him on my lap while waiting for swim class to start (the swim nappies I used were disposable quite thin as it is good but in my experience it has some kind of leak guard that prevents my baby's urine from dripping everywhere). Regardless, I'm sure the primary purpose of these reusable materials is to keep solids inside (although I haven't tested that feature yet). I would also have liked a more modern color and design. In terms of size, my child is 26 pounds and 33 inches and I had to use buttons for the largest size. And even then it was full (again big kids problems).
