Decent headgear matches protective gear
It provides the protection I need for a sparring session. It floats a little and curls up, causing blind spots. I would not recommend this headgear to serious MMA practitioners with aggressive sparring partners. Our dojo hits hard, but we show restraint when we see equipment failures. I've had a few instances where a well-placed hook turned the headgear and I had to bend down to straighten up. I've seen complaints about this in other reviews. It wasn't a big issue for me, but I see the benefits of a safer model.
