I have a few salt lamps but this is the prettiest. The wooden base is strong and well attached to the salt block. I really like that to change the bulb you have to loosen a few screws to pull it out of the base. Speaking of bulbs, this bulb comes with an extra one. This is great for me because I don't usually have a lamp like this on hand. I also really like the dimmer, much more than I thought. If you change the brightness level, the color will also change slightly. In the darkest mode, the lamp has a deeper pink color, and the brighter you get, the brighter and more diverse the hue. It's a really good lamp and I feel a little encouraged after lighting it in my bedroom for the past few weeks. Seasonal Mood Disorder isn't fun and I'll accept any upgrade I can get, so I'll probably need one of these lamps in every room.
