**Review specific to 3.1 Type C to RJ45 Ethernet**Bacon Saver. I just bought a Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition (2016 Skylake) with Ubuntu preinstalled. Worked as it should (after updating bios as it should). The real bacon savings came when I decided to install Linux Mint 17.3. and it doesn't work with my intel wifi chipset. This USB 3.1 stick worked with Linux Mint out of the box and I'm very happy with it. Now I can download my drivers and go about my business. Also, I wanted to buy a Dell 3.1 hub, but it was expensive, it had things I didn't need, and I read comments about it not working for Linux. This little key was cheap. mmm sorry The "profitability" is much lower in comparison, and I appreciate the fact that the manufacturer and seller directly say "works with Linux" which it does. If you need a 3.1 dongle, buy this one, you can't go wrong.
