My wife and I received money towards the purchase as a gift. We researched a large number of tripods in this price range and found that the MT190CXPRO4 reviews best matched what we wanted in a tripod. I have a Manfrotto 3-piece steel tripod and was very pleasantly surprised at the lighter weight that carbon fiber offers. My wife and I are about 5ft 10" tall and one of the best things about this tripod is the extra height that the fourth section provides. into the viewfinder without bending down. What a relief. Manfrotto did a great job with the overall design of this tripod. There are certainly pricier models out there with other bells and whistles, but I'm not sure there are any in this price range that suit our needs, like this model.
