Tripods Complete Worth every penny

It's hard to believe I waited so long to buy this tripod. Like everyone else, I'm always trying to save a few bucks without realizing the damage this approach can do to my expensive camera and lens. After trying several tripods, damaging several cameras, and breaking several lenses, I finally settled on this tripod. The tripod is a solid and well-made piece of equipment that gives me a sense of security when I place my camera and lenses on it. I love the fact that I can also get this tripod to…

I can't imagine how the tripod could be improved

Incredible quality, Italy never disappoints. I had a hard time deciding between this model and the 360go with quick twist buckles. Eventually I realized that the spin would not be any faster than the click, and I would feel more confident with legs that locked in with the click. I avoided buying a ball head on this model because I just bought a fluid video head (Manfrotto 502) and thought I could be smart and just use it. wrong decision. The video head is damn heavy and very difficult to travel

Robust, medium-weight tripod for DSLRs and most lenses

I'm quite a serious amateur photographer and bought this to replace a (really) 45 year old Vivitar tripod that had finally worn out. I was 16 then, now 61, and I wanted a tripod that would last another 45 years. The Manfrotto 190 is an excellent medium-duty tripod. In combination with a stable ball or gimbal head, this tripod is stable even in moderate winds. The attachable legs are smooth and easy to adjust. The center column is rigid and can be extended by 90 degrees if necessary. I was able…

Pros
  • All set!
Cons
  • Clarity

This is a "just right" case. I first bought a 4 piece version of the same tripod (MT190XPRO4). While I liked it overall, I found it a bit too flimsy, the lower (4th) leg sections were very thin and flexed a lot when squeezed. on a tripod. It wasn't really as strong as the cheap 4 piece tripod I bought from Calumet Photo many years ago for about 1/3 the price so I sent it back. I then bought a Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 aluminum 3 section version. This is the heavy duty version and while it was…

Best of its kind for the price

My wife and I received money for the purchase as a gift. We researched a large number of tripods in this price range and found that the MT190CXPRO4 reviews best matched what we wanted in a tripod. I have a Manfrotto 3-piece steel tripod and was very pleasantly surprised at the lighter weight of the carbon fiber. My wife and I are about 5ft 10" tall and one of the best things about this tripod is the extra height that the fourth section provides. into the viewfinder without bending down. What a…

Poor design and assembly.

It may be an anomaly but after only a few weeks of very light use one of the thigh joints exploded in a shower of small pieces of plastic at dusk in a place where it was difficult to find or access them all repair. It happened when I pulled that leg out of its folded position. No unusual force was used. It just seems like the mechanism that is supposed to stop the extension in its maximum position was weak and broken, allowing the lower sections to be pulled out fully and small bits of plastic…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • expensive insurance

An ideal tripod in terms of height, weight and cost.

This stand is unique. When looking for a carbon fiber tripod to replace my aluminum tripod, I initially considered options such as the meFoto travel backpack, the Manfrotto beFree carbon fiber tripod, and the Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 carbon fiber tripod. The criteria I looked at were weighted by maximum height, weight, stability, cost and folded length. From the start, meFoto and beFree were at a severe disadvantage due to their maximum height, but their weight, cost and compactness allowed them…
