Good for what they do.

I used it under a very heavy workbench that had the lever type leveling casters breaking when I tried to lift it. They handle loads with ease, have no protruding arms to trip over, and gradually raise or lower the bench so it can be stabilized on uneven floors. It's a little fiddly to go down and turn the dials, but not difficult.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great solution for cymbal rolls

This is great. Easy leveling on sloped garage floor. I ran out of height adjustment in a corner of my garage, but the floor there is noticeably more sloped than elsewhere. They work great in the area I will be using the amazing table I installed them on. I also like the "rubber" feet, which reduce vibration when working with a grinder and hammer on a table.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Robust construction with easy height adjustment.

These reels are heavy but good. They are well built and hold at least the advertised weight and also roll and turn very well on my garage floor. A dial on each roller allows reasonable adjustment of the level of the supported object. Wheels no longer roll and casters no longer rotate when supported by an object. Well made and great function.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Strong enough to move a 1250lb shaper

Reasonably priced (design is a copy of British Footmaster design). It's surprisingly easy to ride, the only downside is that the bolt the block mounts on could be a bit thicker. It has no problem supporting my machine's weight (its 550 kg/1250 lbs), but since it is a reciprocating shaper that moves horizontally, it does move a little. For a heavy precision machine, it would probably be better to use rollers to lift, roll and hit hard points.

Resilience maybe too high

I ordered these roles a few weeks ago. They were shipped on time and well packaged. I just installed them on a platform that holds about 550 pounds. What I like is how easy it is to move the platform with the wheels in the low position. They roll and turn very easily with the load. However, if I need to lower or raise the rubber mounts, the weight must be removed from each roller during adjustment. The rubber mounts seem to hold the weight well once adjusted. I don't know if I would give the…

  • Easy assembly

  • Out of fashion

Wrong item sent 2 times

The rollers in the picture have a 4 screw mounting plate - the rollers sent (original and replacement) had a thread for a screw through the middle - completely useless for my application. (Mostly two styles are sold and they kept sending me the 'other' style, not the one in the photo). The rest of the videos looked good. I've watched a few videos on this (versus cheaper knockoffs) - don't be fooled by the small screw next to the wheel, it's not load-bearing (as it looks in the photos). However,

but the harder wheels should work better than the rubber wheels. I now have

Move the farming equipment to work on it. They were packaged very well but unless run over by a tracked vehicle I'm not sure they could have been damaged. I won't know for sure until I put some stress on them, but the stiffer wheels should work better than the rubber ones I have now. The height is lower, which gets me closer to my work, and the stops are easy to set up. The frame of the roller is made from good heavy cast aluminum and seems quite capable of handling the weight they are rated…

Reliable and much better than conventional rollers.

I will never buy traditional lockup reels again - I feel like we've been doing it wrong for 100 years. Have you ever been in a situation where your desk just had to stay in place? You fix 2 or more castors with your foot and hope for stability. But it never works, ever. Inevitably, a castor will come loose or the table will simply roll across the floor on locked wheels. With these casters you get the table where you need it, drop the cushions and you have a solid base and the wheels are out of…

High quality with some imperfections

I installed it on a table saw. Installation was as easy as can be. These reels are high quality, well constructed and will most likely carry even more weight than they are designed for. They are easy to work with my saw and spin very smoothly. I am definitely pleased with their overall quality. I bought these casters instead of a mobile base that I could buy for my saw for a reason and that was because I have a very uneven floor in my garage. With these I can easily adjust the rubber feet on…
