High quality with some imperfections

I installed it on a table saw. Installation was as easy as can be. These reels are high quality, well constructed and will most likely carry even more weight than they are designed for. They are easy to work with my saw and spin very smoothly. I am definitely pleased with their overall quality. I bought these casters instead of a mobile base that I could buy for my saw for a reason and that was because I have a very uneven floor in my garage. With these I can easily adjust the rubber feet on each foot and have the saw completely level. The mobile base did not offer this function. However, once installed and used, they are impractical to set up and move. You could definitely make a ratchet or bolt that you could attach a drill to and easily adjust the height of the pulley. On a good day I like to take the saw into the driveway and work outside. These wheels are more suited to occasional use when you really need to use type. My second criticism of them is the advertising that the rubber feet are very stable. As I said, they can absorb vibrations, but my table saw definitely wobbles a bit more than when it's on a solid base. The mobile base eliminates this problem as it lifts the saw off the base and puts it back on the base. Overall I'm happy with the purchase of these reels for my particular application, although I'm still looking for a solution that will give me the best results. both worlds of the mobile base and those cutscenes. I need the ability to align those roles, as well as the ease of use and strength of the mobile base.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic controls
