Installed these on my 2020 Forty-Eight today and found the installation process very easy. It was as easy as unbolting the stock mufflers and installing new ones. I reused existing hardware on the bike, so I didn't have a problem with the included bolts being too short (I've read this was a common problem). They impress visually and sonically. After I put them on my bike they made it incredibly loud and gave it that deep guttural sound you would imagine on a Harley. I uploaded a video but it's not true - it's HUGE. HOWEVER - after riding the bike I noticed a SIGNIFICANT loss of power and found the bike to run very lean. Since I didn't change the stock air intake, I've read that I don't need to reconfigure the bike, but I don't see any other option. While the bike sounds perfect now, it performs horribly. Has anyone else had the same problem, and if so, how to fix it? A remap isn't the end of the world, it's a pretty easy adjustment I can have at the dealer, but if I need a fuel management system or a new intake manifold I'll probably return them and just buy a brand new one. Exhaust pipes and upgrade the bike to level 1.
