This monitor is insane - right out of the box. I haven't changed any settings yet. It became perfect immediately. A little on the bright and flashy side, but I'm ok with that. The IPS panel is just awesome. The only thing that bothers me is the stand, it's annoying. But it's normal. I'm sure for a monitor of this size and quality they had to cut corners somewhere to get this price point. Attention - display cable not included. Do yourself a favor and buy a good $20-25 display cable. I recommend this monitor to everyone. I'd say it's better to save money for something like this than try to get a "budget" monitor, which is a bit of a stretch in some ways. I'm just saying you can have a really good computer, but it will look just as good as your monitor.
