It works on my Windows ME
I bought the HP3400Cse in December - I had Windows 98 at the time - the scanner didn't take long to install and worked great the first time. Then I upgraded my computer and installed Windows ME. Before I reinstalled the scanner, I came across customer reviews of this product and found people saying it didn't work with Windows ME. I was worried. But I reinstalled the scanner and then went to Hewlett Packard's website where there was an update for the scanner - I downloaded it - and my scanner works fine on Windows ME. For my purposes, the scanner is a quality product. Easy to use and I had no problems with the scanner.
