Review on Travel In Style: Refillable Leather Notebook Cover For Small Journals by Cameron Head

Revainrating 4 out of 5

this one is okay for a starter, for only one reason.

i don't think it's that giftable since the books that go in it are proprietary. meaning, you have to buy their brand of notebook refills. i got it because i would've liked an extra budget one to have around the house, and when i tried to put my midori inserts, none of them fit. i gave it to my son with a blank newerstore notebook, and he had to cut it. i had no idea that you have to search for their brand of notebook inserts here on amazon. oh well, next time i'll pay more attention at the size.but. for the money this is nice. it's not real leather, it has the card holder which i loved. i almost stole it from my son. LOL. the midori one is 12 bucks, almost worth just buying for that. but it is nice as a starter notebook. the original midori are super over priced. i usually make my own, but this was even cheaper than the leather i usually buy to make one. so i said, lets go. don't regret buying it, my son is very happy with it, takes it to school, journals, and draws in it. already got compliments from the teacher over it.

I barely got this today, and it looks like it will last. I like the leather because it is already scratched, which gives it character. If you do not like it, grab some saddle soap and go to work! It is a great little handbook to practice drawing and keep notes. I already practiced drawing!😃
