We all know that IP security cameras are of the best quality and can revolve around Wi-Fi cameras, the only problem is that they are usually very expensive. Meet the Amcrest PTZ camera. This is everything I wanted from a PTZ camera for my home. The quality is comparable to the SUPER expensive Verkada cameras I use at work but 4 times cheaper. Before purchasing the camera I was a bit apprehensive as I don't have an Amcrest NVR (my NVR is Montavue too) but after speaking to Amcrest customer service and finding out it's a Dahua OEM I decided me to know that if all else fails, the camera is ONVIF compliant. The camera connected to my DVR via plug and play, which made things a lot easier. Everything works great with the rest of our system and my wife loves that she can control the camera from her phone to see what's going on outside the house.
