Being a big guy with a bad back, camping with my Boy Scout son has been tough on the back. This cot was a worthwhile investment. Now, is it as comfortable as a memory foam bed, no, but it is more comfortable than an air mattress.This is a very sturdy cot that does not creak through the not, bringing on fears of an impending collapse as you adjust positions in the middle of the night. The slight tilt for the head took a little getting used to, but once I found a good position, I was out like a light. The other plus of this is that it accordions up quite nicely, making it easy to pack.I would highly recommend this cot. If you camp more than one weekend a year, this is a good investment for sleep that night and your back the next morning.
