The overall quality of the cookware is normal but I was disappointed to find that the fork has rounded tines like most children's forks on the market. I understand this is to prevent stinging for inexperienced users. For toddlers who are used to handling utensils but aren't quite up to par with the adult version, small and light forks with relatively sharp tines are very useful. Otherwise, puncturing the food can be very frustrating. In any case, the product photo shows the pointed tines on the fork. The fork we received in the kit does not have the pointed tines shown in the product photo and we already have a variety of children's forks with round tines. The spoon is fairly shallow and not suitable for food other than baby food or applesauce. Difficult to use to eat porridge or cook a decent amount of soup with a spoon. boo
