Although this is a soft toothbrush, the bristles hold up well. What I really like are the double length bristles. You can feel the little long sets of brushing really go between your teeth. Although listed as compact, it is mostly short but still wide enough to get the entire tooth in one pass. I wanted a compact brush because I always have a hard time cleaning my outer molars with a regular toothbrush, it still fits well but I think it will fit most people. The reason it only gets 4 stars is that some of the bristles have not been trimmed properly and are a few mm longer than the others in their group. 1-2 months update: I'm moving on to the next toothbrush. The bristles on this brush were so close together that they were harder to keep clean and I'm not sure if they really dried out between brushes. There is no way I could use this brush for 3 months. 4 stars because it was a great toothbrush; He brushed his teeth very well, the bristles never came out. However, from an environmental point of view, I cannot change my toothbrush every month. Now I use Radius Source with super soft bristles to brush my teeth. As long as you like it (beginning). I've been hesitant to buy one in the past because of the rather large toothbrush head, but it's tapered at the end which makes accessing those back teeth pretty easy.
