Disappointing. A great company name and impressive advertising without a product behind it. I've had paper towel holders that had enough resistance to tear off part of the paper towel, which is what the company advertises for this holder. This towel rail creates a lot of waste by spinning paper off the roll with no sign of resistance. I've found many websites selling and praising it, but very little support. I finally found this phone number 877-988-7770 to ask for help. It soon became apparent that the agent was unfamiliar with how the product worked and was not attempting to access any resources. I am asking if there is a way to customize the product or asking someone else to provide information about the feature. He didn't know what to do other than if I don't like the product send it back and look for another company. I never said I didn't like it, but I did ask if there was a spring adjustment that should control the resistance. The agent regretted that he had no information. He was the support offered by Simplehuman to solve problems. Talking to him was a waste of time and didn't represent the company well. I will accept his unprofessional offer and send the towel holder back and find another paper towel holder. There are other reviews with the same complaint about the product. Next up is Troy, Michigan.
