Review on 🐾 ecoFLEX Albany Outdoor Feral Cat House: A Sustainable Shelter for Stray Cats by Everett Underberg

Love this little shelter! My neighbor recently moved and abandoned his street cat. I have far too many house cats myself so this new guy I'm taking care of has to stay outside. I live in Florida and it rains here so I wanted a safe, dry place for him to escape to. Assembly was so easy and only took a few minutes. I decided to omit the door leaves, but will most likely put them on for the winter. It seems really durable and I have no doubt it will last. I laid it on cinder blocks and added a piece of plywood to make a canopy for the roof. It may spoil on the outside, but stays drier on the inside in my opinion. I cut out a piece of memory foam padding to match the shelter's floor, so I think it's incredibly comfortable for him too. I've also put in a security camera so I can check if he's really using it - and make sure other cats aren't trying to use it and leave their smell in it. I have had this shelter for 2-3 weeks now and I can say with confidence that the cat uses it often. He sleeps in it for hours when it rains or it's too humid outside, which is how he likes it. He knows exactly where she is and runs towards her when it starts to rain. I am so happy with my purchase that I want another one for the other stray and feral cats that hang out nearby.
