I have 4 cats of various ages, all rescued from a city shelter. 2 have diseases. One has chronic kidney failure, the other (our oldest at 16) has IBD and hyperthyroidism. The eldest is on a variety of medications to keep his symptoms in check but 6 months ago he developed severe alopecia - so severe that our vet was concerned she would eventually take him away from us. I found Missing Link and saw that it should help with a number of issues, including her coat, so I thought why don't you try it. We had previously added fish oil (which is harmless to cats) to their food which didn't make them happy, so we decided to use the missing link instead (since it also contains omegas). All 4 cats found it very tasty and had no trouble eating when we mixed it. I started on half the recommended dose for the first week and then went up to the full dose the next week with no problems. So why 5 star rating. I'm sure it benefits everyone I can't even see fully but the most amazing thing is our 16 year old - after many months of severe hair loss his hair has started to grow AGAIN and fast. This after only a few weeks of use, I actually didn't see the connection until last night after talking to our vet and trying to figure out (with all the meds, specialty products etc) what was different. This stuff really works and is a godsend for our sweet senior. I am amazed and grateful!
