Review on 🌈 SUPERNIGHT - Black PCB 5050 RGB LED Strip: 16.4ft 300 LEDs Color Changing Non-Waterproof Flexible Rope Lighting - Black PCB Strip by Sander Savala

Don't try to glue them.

Update. The problem was the glue I used to attach the strip. I used regular clear silicone sealant that you would use for windows and doors. The adhesive corroded many areas of the strip and caused tension problems. I suspect if the glue used was strong enough to hold in place I wouldn't need the extra glue to cause this problem. The funny thing is I've never had this before and have used this glue many times on white LEDs on circuit boards. Maybe it has something to do with the board color being black. I don't know what else to do to make them stick. 3 rolls wasted in one day. Original Review - I don't know what to make of this. I've been installing these 5050 style strip lights for 4 years now but this is the first black circuit board I've used and the first time I've purchased from this seller. I don't buy waterproof ones as the finish will yellow and ruin the color effects. Instead, I use weatherproof covers. In the photo, the covers are not yet mounted. In groups of 3, the color is wrong. Everything worked fine for the first 3 hours after installation. Then they gradually began to fail in groups of 3 LEDs. Setting the stripe to blue gives me mixed patches of purple and green. When I set the stripe to red I get purple spots. Green is the only color that causes all LEDs to turn green. This ruins any effect, blue looks purple and greenish, red looks purple, yellow looks green and so on. Voltage and wiring are ok. Also tested with multiple controllers. Bought 3, only 1 works. Not very happy.
