First of all I have nothing bad to say about this handy grill. I also got grilled chicken skewers (with peppers) today. I marinated them for about two hours using the old recipe that follows the picture. I live at 6500ft so prep takes longer here. Nicely fried, four minutes per side. then five on the other side. They were delicious and tender. I shredded raw potatoes on the grill then used Pam before reheating. Easy to clean, no problem here. Come this winter, when heavy snow falls, I will definitely fry cutlets, vegetables and kebabs. I think it will be useful for some users to experiment with the cooking time. For those lacking the outside flavor, buy liquid smoke and give it a try. I will buy wooden tongs so as not to damage the grill. I definitely recommend this kitchen addition! UPDATE: 8/23/17 After cleaning, I noticed a few tiny what I thought were white spots on the grill. Teflon came off. The meat was only lifted with plastic tongs and thoroughly washed without scrubbing. So disappointed.
