One of the best toys purchased this Christmas.Pros:It's a puzzle for older kids - 4 and up could probably manage to put this together. I've seen several other puzzles similar to this where you try to put the pieces together in a box and you have to rely on the picture they give you. Here you can use the alphabet as a guide so it teaches or reinforces the alphabet. I put this puzzle together and it was fun for an adult as well.Two puzzles in one - one side is puzzle for upper case and the other side is a puzzle for lower case alphabet.It's a stand up toy for playing make believe. My kids have used these puzzle pieces to act out different things - being a vet, living on a farm, being a teacher and showing the kids things on a farm.The pieces are made from wood. Wood is sanded down so there are no rough edges. Paint does not chip off. Pieces are brightly colored.There is a storage container. Although the container itself is this long box that doesn't really fit anywhere so we have to slide it under the sofa for now.Cons:A few of the pieces are small enough that I would not feel comfortable leaving my toddler alone with this. The toy isn't for him but he's in the house.
